WebSMS
is a program installed on the user’s PC, which allows users to send Short Messages
(SMS) to
mobile phones around the world
using SMS-Gateways over Internet.
WebSMS
has a database of free Servers. It contains information how to connect the server and how to transmit short messages using the HTTP-Protocol .

With this information,
WebSMS can connect to each server described on the database and send any short message directly without using a browser.
