| Settings |
The "Settings" window allows you to set different options of WebSMS. It contains
5 tabs, which are showed in the following picture

| The General tab |
|
| In the general tab you can set if WebSMS should be sent to
the system tray when you minimize the main window. You can also set, if WebSMS should
start as a system tray icon |

| The Signature tab |
|
| In the signature tab you can set
the text that you want to append to your Short Messages (see Message
Window). |

| The Proxy Server tab |
|
| In the Proxy Server tab you can set if you
are using a proxy server or not. If you select the "Use proxy server" check
button, you can set the hostname of your proxy server and its port address. WebSMS doesn't
support in the current version the use of a user ID and a password. |

| The Server Update tab |
|
| The Server Update tab allows
to update the local data base of the free SMS servers. After pressing the "Start
upsate" botton, WebSMS will connect to the WebSMS site and download the newest SMS
servers information. |

| The Logfile tab |
|
| The logfile tab allows to enable or disable
the protocol of all send activities of WebSMS. This function could be useful in case that
you are having troubles when you are sending Short Messages. |
