The address book tab allows you to create, change or delete your personal registers with
information for sending Short Messages to your family, friends or colleagues. When you
click on the "New" or the "Change" button you obtain a new window, the
Address Book item. This window is showed in the following picture.
The "Address Book Item" window contains the following fields:
On the "Nickname" field you can set a
nickname for your address item. This nickname will be showed in the message window when
you choose the receiver for the Short Message.
On the "First name" field you can set the first name of your address
book item.
On the "Last name" field you can set the last name of your address
book item.
To select a free SMS-Server please choose an item from the
"SMS-Server" list. Its is important, that you should get a server which contains
the prefix number you want to call. After selecting an SMS-Server, the prefix list bellow
will be updated with the prefix numbers supported for that server.
The SMS-Server list
will be increased often. To get the newest list of free SMS-Servers please look at the WebSMS homepage.
To select the prefix number of the cellular phone you want to call, please
choose an item from the "Prefix" list. If you don't find the desired prefix
number, please choose another SMS-Server. Note that the prefix list is dependent on the
selected free SMS-Server.
On the "Number" field you can introduce the number of the cellular
phone of the address book item. Please be sure that you have selected the correct prefix
number.
On the "Email" field you can introduce the email
address of the person of the address book item.
On the "Comments" field you write a short note about the address
book item.
The "Last Change" field shows you the date and time of the last
change you have made to the current address book item.
With the "OK" button you can save a new address book item or
its changes. With the "Cancel" button the current address book item will be not
save, or the changes you made will also not saved.
